I'm late, I'm late for a very important date!

One of my new years resolutions was to get the Eni blog up and running and to keep it up to date. Mo who likes to keep me organised has taken to putting her head around the office door chanting blog, blog, blog!
The reason for my absence is that I have taken on several new projects, the hardest being learning how to drive. No major accidents as yet but my driving instructor has had a new clutch put into his car for which I may or may not be responsible. If you see me riding around town in "the beast" and you value your lives, stick to the kerb!

The second project is the Molton Mosaic, an ambitious venture to mosaic the outside of our local swimming pool using donated china. When completed, the mosaic could turn out to the be the largest in Europe. Somehow I managed to get myself elected as vice chair, last night I spent a few hours at the workshop sorting through the tonnes of china we have already received. There is a real buzz in and around the town, it's amazing to see how the whole community has come together. As gahndi said "be the change you wish to see in the world."

Hmmm New shoes!

It's like Christmas in March at Eni HQ, we have been busy unpacking boxes filled with beautiful things and these ruffle flats are no exception.

Anyone who knows me will know I have a love of shoes, and these caught my eye at one of the many shows we attend every year. Made of satin, leather lined and with a pretty ruffle at the toe. The flats are already becoming a firm favourite with our customers, so much so that the grey flats are now only available in size 5.

The black ruffle heel has a divine peep toe and are perfect for a night out on the town!

Mo and I have a mantra, "When it's gone, it's gone". We only buy in small quantities to keep our stock looking fresh and exciting - so don't be disappointed!

Welcome to the Eni blog!

Eni interior.jpg

Welcome, to the Eni blog! After much deliberation and hard work (not mine I hasten to add!) the Eni blog is now live.

We will be celebrating our third birthday in August, it's quite frightening to think how quickly time has flown by and the changes we have seen. I was looking at some photographs of when we first opened, we were obviously going for the minimalist look at the the time, we have just had a facelift and everyone agrees the shop is looking great.

Much has changed, lessons have been learnt but I can honestly say I still love coming to work everyday. Eni has a loyal army of wonderful women (and men but mostly for important dates like birthdays and valentines) and I still get a tingling feeling when I see someone leave the shop with an Eni bag, tied with our beautiful signature ribbon.

Based in the historic market town of South Molton, Devon, the gateway to Exmoor, Eni opened it's doors almost three years ago. If you come into the shop there will be three friendly faces to greet you. There is Morele (that's me) owner and gift wrapper, Mo who tells anyone that will listen that she is my slave - personally I prefer the term "my right hand". All I will say is that everyone needs a Mo, and last but not least is Millie my border collie who works six days a week meeting and greeting everyone that comes in to the shop.

So introductions out of the way, I hope that the Eni blog will keep you up to date with news and exciting new products that are continually arriving.

Morele
